Scott Farquhar, the co-founder and co-CEO of Atlassian pointed out that over 90% of customers uses cloud version from its beginning and more companies are switching their software from the original server to cloud-based, Atlassian decides to expand investment in the development of cloud software across its entire product line and announced the retirement of its server product line. Price updates for multiple product licenses with its new product structure starting next year.
What is the roadmap for server product retirement?
- In February 2021, Atlassian stopped offering the new license sales for server products and updated the current server prices.
- In February 2, 2024, all server products will become end of support. Support and bug fixes will no longer be available for server products.
